#AtoZChallenge
So….Yesterday, Dec 26, was my birthday and some say I go a little over the top with posting, on facebook, about my birthday, but…You wouldn’t understand unless you have a birthday anywhere near the Christmas holiday. Thankfully I have never had the problem of getting jipped on my birthday. My mom made the rule when I was born that is was going to be a day separate from the Christmas holiday and for the most part it has been that way.
Yesterday started out as a comedy of errors. The weather was gross. It was sleeting, windy and cold. I would much rather have snow. It’s not so slippery. Then the sleet turned into light snow. As if that wasn’t bad enough….we lost my mom’s cat. Thinking he’d gotten out of the house we searched, in the snow, around outside the house. Calling his name and shaking his treat bag. No cat. This went on for close to an hour. I decided it might be worth a drive around the neighborhood. Still no cat. After an extensive search of the house I finally heard a tiny little “meow” (Luke isn’t a mouthy cat, Unlike his sister) Found the cat…..in a cabinet. Stupid cat. That finally over we made our way out for our traditional shopping trip. I had a coupon for Gamestop, and they were having a sale. I spent too much money but oh well…It was my birthday after all…We went to a couple other places and I got some things Iwanted. Including a new TV 🙂
All in all, kitty mishap and all, It was a great birthday
